I regret to say I am going to miss this our class reunion once again. I had made plans long before I knew the dates of the reunion to have eye surgery in Charlotte, NC. Please tell my classmates I am sorry not to be there especially Carl Hosey, as he was always my dance partner. Hope everyone has a great time and again I am sorry I will miss this great gathering.

I was home last week and don't think I'll be able to make it back in for the reunion. I was really looking forward to seeing everyone. Please give my best. I'll miss not seeing old friends again.

Hello Classmates,
Just a note to say hello and to let you know that I won't be able to attend this reunion. I was called home a few weeks ago to see my mother who has congestive heart failure and was not expected to live. She is now in a rehabilitation center in Virginia and has about a year to live. Tell all hello for me and I will be at the next reunion. I still am doing hair and have started a part time home base business helping others with saving money and making money on their health care. My husband, Mike, and I are involved with classic cars and have 2. It is a lot of fun. Kind of brings back those high school memories. Once again hello and sorry to miss this reunion.

Sorry I will not be able to attend the big bash this year. My job has me pretty much tied down for now but I wanted to say hello to all my fellow class mates and hope they all have great time together. Someday I hope to make one of the reunions. Keep up the good work on the web page...it sure does bring back a lot of memories. My best to all! Keep rockin!

I pretty much have been keeping house the past several years. Married Jim in 1989. I'm like Cher, mine is 5 years younger than me. Whew. The bad part I guess, he is a Grizzly (NCHS). But I can overlook that. He has to stand a Lumberjack. I have one grandson, Jacob, who will be 6 years old this coming Oct. 19th. My son will be 30 on Oct. 14th. Scott is married and lives in Concord, NC. He has been there since 1998. He drives a truck that delivers blocks out to work sites. Bridget works at the Liz Claiborne outlet store at the Concord Mills Mall.
During my free time, I work crossword puzzles, keep the large area around where we live mowed, keep up with housework, like to watch comedy movies and love stories. I like to shop and love to do e-mails. I also enjoy riding a 4-wheeler. My dream vacation would be to go to California to watch a movie and a show being made. I have always been interested in what goes on behind the scenes. I would love to be in the room when Mel Brooks or someone is working on a comedy and give some of my ideas. I have a great sense of humor. My favorite type of movies are comedies with John Candy, Steve Martin, Mel Brooks, Jim Carey, Chris Tucker, Leslie Nielson, Jerry Lewis, Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence, Dan Akroyd, Chevy Chase, and any others along that line.
My hobbies/activities include: painting, making latch hook rugs and potholders. My last big project was painting wood figures for a country look in the home. Did some of that and sold some along the way. Taking pix with the digital camera. I like car rides through in the countryside, walks in the woods, and mowing grass. I like flowers but don't like working in soil. I enjoy sitting in the rocking chair on the porch and watching the deer cross the field. I live out a one lane country road in a mobile home in Craigsville. It sits on my parents 63 acres which gives alot of room to roam.
Other comments: I enjoyed my 4 years in high school. The people I hung around with made it a pleasure to be there. Didn't like homework but enjoyed the people. I always liked Mary Lou Borelli as a teacher. Got a laugh out of Forrest Dorsey in typing class when his brother Carroll would come to the door and tease him. I liked Betty Smith. I liked Dorene Morris for Phys. Ed. Sure wish we had computers back then. I sure would love to have lots more computer knowledge. Wish I had been raised on one since grade school. The kids nowadays are lucky because it sure is the computer generation. Wow..Wish I had known in school what I would like to have done when I got out. I would like to move to where Scott and Bridget live in Concord, NC.

LIFE IS A PICTURE
I took a little time today,
To, reminisce of yesterday.
To review, my life in the past,
Recorded here in photographs.
My album book is really worn,
Some pages here are even torn.
Some old pictures, have even molded,
As, before me, my life unfolded.
Then as I paged through, year by year,
Sometimes, I'd shed a little tear.
So many faces, I have known,
Some passed away, and others grown.
Sometimes, it's hard to realize,
When all spread out, before my eyes.
With all the pictures that I took,
My whole life's in this little book.
